Freedom From Addiction

God’s Word for temptation, shame, weakness, and victory.

You Are Not Too Far Gone

“If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.”

John 8:36

When You Feel Weak

1 Corinthians 10:13

“God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able...”

Temptation is real, but God always provides a way to endure or escape.

Matthew 26:41

“Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation...”

Prayer keeps the spirit alert when the flesh feels weak.

Romans 8:1

“There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus...”

Conviction leads you back to God. Condemnation tries to make you hide from Him.

Psalm 34:18

“The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart...”

God does not abandon the broken. He draws near to the humble.

Galatians 5:1

“Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free...”

Christ did not save you so you could stay chained. He calls you into freedom.

2 Corinthians 5:17

“If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature...”

Your past does not have the final word. In Christ, new life is possible.

Proverbs 24:16

“For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again...”

Falling is not the end. Getting back up with God matters.

1 John 1:9

“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us...”

Confession brings cleansing. Do not run from God after failure — run to Him.

Luke 19:1-10 — Zacchaeus

Zacchaeus was greedy and dishonest, but after meeting Jesus, his life changed.

Jesus can transform someone’s desires, choices, and direction.

Mark 5:1-20 — The Man in the Tombs

A tormented man was restored by Jesus and later became a witness to others.

No one is too broken for Christ to restore.

Acts 9 — Paul

Paul once persecuted Christians, but God turned him into a preacher of the Gospel.

Your past can become part of your testimony.

A Prayer for Freedom

Lord Jesus, I confess that I need You. I cannot defeat this by my strength alone. Help me resist temptation, renew my mind, and walk in freedom. Give me courage to ask for help, wisdom to avoid triggers, and strength to get back up when I fall. Amen.

Real Help Matters Too

Prayer is powerful, but do not isolate yourself. Talk to a trusted Christian, pastor, counselor, support group, or someone mature who can walk with you.

If someone is in danger, overdosing, or thinking about self-harm, call emergency services immediately.
